Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
