The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
